I Have a Vision of Being Intentional
In an effort to fulfill what it is that God has called me to do, I have made a conscious decision to be intentional in my everyday living. Every day isn’t easy and some days are not the same as the day before, regardless I still strive to live purposeful. I have found that oftentimes we make decisions, speak on desires and fail in our actions. We see the big picture but we lose focus. How do we fix our focus?
When it seems like we are unable to see clearly, it is time that we adjust our spiritual lens. We must be willing to do what it is that God has in His plan for our lives. For the Bible tells us that He has plans for our well-being not of disaster, to give us a future and a hope. Therefore, it His will that we prosper and we do good. For the steps of a good person are made secure by the Lord when they delight in HIS way. It is time that we remove the spiritual cataracts from our eyes and focus on seeing clearly. We need to focus on being intentional, living on purpose, with a purpose. If we expect God to be intentional in waking us up daily, loving, forgiving, healing, protecting, keeping and blessing us- why must it be so hard for us to be intentional? Life is too short to focus on hate, grudges, stupidity, and bitterness.
In order to have a vision of being intentional- we must be willing to do as Ephesians 5:15-17 states, in summary: Be careful to live our lives wisely, not foolishly. When you know better, you do better! Make use of every opportunity that you have. Be intentional with how you love, live, and give. Don’t be ignorant, focus on what God wants for you. You matter too and you have a purpose.
It is definitely time that we live as if our lives depend on it. It’s not survival, it’s intentional. I have a vision of being intentional. It is my intent to live purposeful. I love you to life and my actions will match the decision that I have made, to have a vision of being intentional. Will you join me in being intentional? #BeIntentional
